It’s Finally Here: The Word Reaches the Mountains of the Tepehuan

It’s Finally Here: The Word Reaches the Mountains of the Tepehuan

Scattered throughout the Sierra Madre Occidental Mountains of Mexico live the Northern Tepehuan people. Though they live in the rugged canyons and hills of the mountain range, we will focus on one town nestled in the mountains — a place we will call BG. It is here that the Tepehuan New Testament dedication took place last November. But it is Important that we go back and see the “road” that was traveled in order to be able to witness this event.

The goal of this project is to present the Acts video in two of the languages spoken by people groups in Bolivia. The video in their own language will be a powerful tool to help them understand God’s plan for His Church. The ones unable to read the Word will be able to hear it and see it. For those in isolated villages, the video presentation is non-threatening, allowing them to listen.

The goal of this project was to finance the building of a substantial church structure. Since the church is in the center of the village, the believers wanted to have a sturdy, well-built building comparable to the other buildings around it. The Manjúi believers have been very willing to give what they have and to use their time to build the new building.

Your gifts toward the purchase of building materials and the construction of the church building are allowing the Manjúi believers to have a solidly built church to meet in regardless of the weather. It is also serving as a testimony to the villagers of God’s faithfulness to His children.

Celebrate!

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, this project has been fully funded and is now complete!
