1 Timothy translation checked

The Tepehuan church in Mexico is looking forward to having more of God’s Word in their language and believers are growing in the Lord.

A Tepehuan couple, Juan and Cleotilde, helped Kevin Case check the book of 1 Timothy for accuracy and clarity. Another Tepehuan believer, Pablo, also helped. The Tepehuan translation team has several book projects in various stages of preparation for printing. "This will be a great help to the Tepehuan believers," Kevin wrote.

Juan and Cleotilde’s daughter, Odilia, finished high school and was accepted at New Tribes Mission Bible School in Chihuahua. She will experience many cultural challenges as she adjusts to life in a large city after growing up in her village.

Kevin’s wife Wendy is delighted with the opportunity to teach evangelistic Bible lessons to a young lady, Irene, who speaks only Spanish. She lives with her husband’s Tepehuan family and has not understood the lessons thus far.

Pray for Juan and Cleotilde as they help translate God’s Word into their language and adjust to their daughter being in Bible School. Pray also for Odilia as she prepares for ministry.
