Chimane church growing

Chimane church leaders are taking more responsibility in leading believers and reaching others for Christ in Bolivia as missionaries Loren and Asa Gill are on home assignment and there are no missionaries working among the Chimanes.

The leaders have taken over the administration of the radio broadcasting ministry as well as several outreach ministries. Believers from five different villages meet twice each month for fellowship and teaching at a central location.

Loren hopes to return to Bolivia for a few weeks at the end of this month to encourage the leaders and help them to expand their meeting place. The church is growing and they need a larger structure to accommodate that growth.

The Chimane tribal work is at a critical stage and Loren wants to help the leaders to realize that they are a part of the global church and encourage them to continue to assume responsibility for mentoring and guiding the believers.

Pray for safety for Loren as he travels to Bolivia. Pray also that the Chimane church will continue to grow and to reach out to others.
