Five learn about church planting on a trip to the Pai Tavy Tera people.

Mike and Trisha Goddard plan to lead two short-term trips for about 12 Latin American youth each early next year. The youths will help put up a church building for the Pai Tavy Tera people and see cross-cultural missions first-hand. Pray that the youths are inspired by God to take part in His work among tribal people.

Paraguay: Pai Tavy Tera tribe: A Paraguayan mission board has “adopted” the Pai Tavy Tera church’s need for a new church building. “Several short-term missions trips are being planned for early 2012, to build a building and to see young people challenged into cross-cultural ministries,” wrote Mike Goddard, who helped arrange the adoption. Pray that God uses this to stir Paraguayan believers to reach their neighbors, the tribal people of Paraguay, and unreached people around the world.

Elvio, who has been paralyzed and desires to teach God’s Word, received spinal surgery and is home. “It was great to see God’s people rally around him by providing walls around his house, a wheelchair, food, clothing, a bed, transportation and many other things,” wrote Mike and Trisha Goddard. Please continue to pray for his recovery.
