Challenged from God's Word by a visiting missionary, Tim and Joan Carmical left their jobs and with children in tow, set out on a life of service that has taken them around the world and back again. Two years as Bible students at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in KY, two more years at New Tribes Bible Institute in MI, and a fifth year at North Cotes College in England helped to prepare the Carmicals for missionary service.
From dugout canoes on the Amazon River to tiny islands in the South Pacific, since 1998 the Carmicals' ministry has led to five continents and over 20 countries.
After working in a remote location in Papua New Guinea from 2008 to 2012, Tim is now serving as a Midwest USA Representative of Ethnos360. His goal is to assist and encourage churches in getting involved in planting indigenous churches among unreached people groups.
A former youth pastor and school teacher, Tim has a heart for young people and an infectious sense of humor that quickly wins friends. An excellent communicator, Tim's ability to captivate and challenge audiences of all generations has made him a much sought after speaker at schools, churches, camps and colleges
