The Ethnos360 MK Care Program

Who Is the MK Care Team?

We exist to provide care and resources for our Ethnos360 Missionary Kids and their parents to better equip them for the unique dimensions of cross-cultural ministry and family life. Our passion is to help cultivate healthy families, enabling them to fulfill their role in establishing indigenous churches.

What We Do

We provide care, resources, and support to our Ethnos360 MKs, ages birth to 22, along with their parents by facilitating a registration-based program built to assist them in their unique life and cross-cultural transitions as they serve with Ethnos360 whether on the mission field, Home Ministry Assignment, or assigned as USA home staff.

To accomplish this, we offer the MK Care Program for all our Ethnos360 MKs and their parents.

What Is the MK Care Program?

The MK Care Program is registration-based and is designed to serve our MKs and their parents. Parents and MKs are invited to register at our website. By registering, MKs will receive all that we have to offer.

The program is based around four cornerstone elements:

CARE

We provide care and support to our families and MKs.

We accomplish this by providing events and soul care-focused visits as possible.

This looks like:

  • Face-to-face or virtual visits
  • Annual events designed specifically for Ethnos360 MKs
  • One-on-One Assistance Available: coaching, assessment tools

CONNECTION

We believe direct connection to our families and MKs is vitally important in order to grow trust and awareness.

All registered families receive annual contacts from MK Care. This will look like care packages, letters, or visits.

Families will also receive our quarterly newsletter called MK Care CONNECT that provides tips for cross-cultural ministry parenting, highlights of MK resources and interactive activities for families.

CENTRAL

We want to assist families by doing the work of sorting through the fire hose of information and resources and condense things to a drinking hose.

To accomplish this, we offer access to our MK Care CENTRAL website that serves as a one-stop-shop for relevant MK resources, MK education support, training, and up-to-date program information. The website is designed for both Ethnos360 parents and MKs (18+ or 14-17 with parental permission).

COMMUNITY

We believe direct connections between our families and MKs are very helpful and actively fights isolation. To accomplish this, we maintain an online community built to foster these unique connections.

All parents and MKs are given access to our private Facebook Community Groups that offer relevant resources, conversations and tips.

How Do I Register?

Registration is for current Ethnos360 MKs and parents only.

Not a Current Ethno360 Parent of MK?

MK Care Central is designed for Ethnos360 MKs and their parents, however, we know there may be others who would benefit from access to the website. If you are interested, please email mkcare@ntm.org, and on a case-by-case basis we can potentially create an Affiliate or Guest account for you. Contact the MK Care Department for more details.
