Volunteer in the USA

Help here makes a world of difference. You help support Ethnos360’s worldwide efforts right here in the U.S. by using your skills on the church-planting team.

Volunteering with Ethnos360 could range from giving a few hours a week to serving full time for several months. Volunteer in one of six locations in the US.




Ethnos360 Home Office

Sanford, Florida

Ethnos360's Home Office coordinates the activities of Ethnos360 missionaries from the USA worldwide, and is home to Ethnos360's Field Ministries leaders, who oversee all of Ethnos360's activities around the globe.

Type of work:

  • general maintenance & construction
  • clerical work

There are also some opportunities to volunteer in specialized areas such as social media, computer programming and graphic design on a long-term or per-task basis.

Location: Sanford, Florida, is just north of the most popular family vacation spot in the USA, Orlando.

Attractions: Walt Disney World and Universal Studios headline a variety of local attractions. One hour north by freeway is the world's most famous beach, Daytona Beach, and two hours in the other direction takes you to Tampa and St. Petersburg on the Gulf Coast.

Ethnos360's Retirement Center

Sanford, Florida

The Homes of Ethnos360 serves the needs of missionaries who have retired from works around the world.

Type of work:

Volunteers are needed for

  • building maintenance
  • handyman repairs
  • carpentry
  • wiring
  • painting
  • plumbing
  • concrete work
  • grounds and landscaping
  • auto mechanics
  • welding and fabrication
  • cleaning and sewing

Our Assisted Living Facility often has opportunities for

  • food preparation
  • housekeeping
  • hair dressing

We desire to match people having specific skills with corresponding projects, yet ask that all volunteers are willing to be flexible.

Facilities: The Homes of Ethnos360 does not provide housing for volunteers, but those with Recreation Vehicles can schedule to stay in our RV park for free, with full hookups, and a clubhouse with restrooms, showers, laundry, and a large area for "pot lucks", games and breaks.

Ethnos360 Training

Camdenton, Missouri

The Missionary Training Center equips men and women to join the Ethnos360 church planting teams in Latin America, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Type of work:

  • building maintenance
  • landscaping
  • construction-related work
  • masonry
  • heavy equipment use
  • electrical

Facilities: Air-conditioned guest facilities and an RV park with hook-ups.

Location: The Missionary Training Center is outside Camdenton in central Missouri.

Attractions: The 350-acre campus is on the Lake of the Ozarks, with numerous opportunities for boating and fishing. One hour from Springfield and two hours from Branson, Missouri. You'll also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with young people who are preparing to take the gospel around the world, and meet veteran missionaries on staff at the Missionary Training Center.

Ethnos360 Jersey Shore Mobilization Center

Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania

Ethnos360 Jersey Shore Mobilization Center is home to the Wayumi mission exposure program, as well as a retreat and conference center.

Type of work: 

  • general maintenance / minor repairs
  • painting
  • grounds upkeep
  • occasional building projects
  • cleaning

Facilities: Hotel-style guest rooms and small apartments are available. Electrical hookups for an RV could be arranged. The campus also has laundry facilities, a gymnasium, and wireless internet access.

Location: Lycoming County of central Pennsylvania, fifteen minutes from Williamsport. About four hours from both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

Attractions: Pine Creek Rails-to-Trails bicycle trail, numerous State Parks, Little League Museum and Little League World Series, Penns Cave, Tioga Central Railroad, Beautiful scenery, especially the Fall foliage

Ethnos360 Bible Institute

Waukesha, Wisconsin

EBI is where training with Ethnos360 begins.  Our campuses are full with approx. 150 students each who are young, vibrant, and ready to begin missionary candidacy!

Type of Work: All of our staff are missionaries and we will be blessed to have you work alongside us.  Some of our positions are seasonal but may include:

  • maintenance
  • construction / renovation
  • secretarial
  • receptionist

Facilities: Typically, we will provide a modest apartment for volunteers with some furnishings.

Attractions: Wisconsin has many lakes, was recently rated #1 in the nation for their parks and bike trails and was rated #1 in the nation for fall colors!  We are 20 minutes from Lake Michigan and on the outskirts of Milwaukee.

Ethnos360 Aviation

McNeal, Arizona

Ethnos360 Aviation has a facility in McNeal, Arizona, that serves as the international headquarters for Ethnos360 Aviation worldwide. Teamwork and commitment are highly valued as we serve personnel with our global fleet. Use your skills on the team as we are involved in administration, flight training and aircraft maintenance training along with the maintenance of our facility.

  • building and facilities maintenance and repairs
  • carpentry
  • wiring
  • painting
  • plumbing
  • concrete work

Facilities: Houses and mobile homes, offices, maintenance facilities and aircraft hangers, 20 RV hookups with full service and laundry facilities.

Location: 20 miles north of the Mexican border, about two hours southeast of Tucson in the Sulphur Springs valley.

Attractions: Tombstone and the O.K. Corral are about 30 miles away. Some 35 miles away are Bisbee and the Copper Queen mine. The former home of the Apaches and their chiefs such as Geronimo and Cochise -- the Chiricahua National Monument, featuring the Wonderland of Rocks -- is approximately 60 miles away.
