Receipt Codes

These are the explanations of the two-letter codes on Ethnos360 receipts. If you have any questions, you may email us at finance-office_hq@ntm.org, or during East Coast business hours call, toll-free, 866-547-2460 .

DG: Designated gift

You asked that your gift be used for a specific purpose or project. All gifts are given with the understanding that Ethnos360 has complete control and administration over the use of donated funds.

MI: Gift to a missionary's ministry

You asked that your gift be used for the ministry of a specific missionary. All gifts are given with the understanding that Ethnos360 has complete control and administration over the use of donated funds.

ST: Gift to a student

Contributions made through a school or organization for a student's use are not tax-deductible, according to IRS regulations. Students at Ethnos360 Bible Institute and the Missionary Training Center are not members of Ethnos360 until they are approved for membership after completing their training.

IF: Interface participant gift

According to IRS regulations, we cannot issue tax-deductible receipts for gifts to participants in Interface because the program is primarily educational.

AS: Assist participant gift

Gifts toward the ministries of individuals who take part in Assist are tax-deductible because the Assist program is directly related to the ministry of Ethnos360.

BD: Birthday gift

Donations designated as birthday gifts are non-taxable income for the recipients, so IRS regulations do not allow us to issue tax-deductible receipts for birthday gifts.

PG: Personal gift

Donations designated as personal gifts are non-taxable income for the recipients, so IRS regulations do not allow us to issue tax-deductible receipts for personal gifts .

CH: Christmas gift

Donations designated as Christmas gifts are non-taxable income  for the recipients, so IRS regulations do not allow us to issue tax-deductible receipts for Christmas gifts.
