Applications Administrator
Requirements:
Required Education, Certifications, and Work Experience:
·Must have a high school diploma or GED
·Must have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an Information Technology related field, A+ certification, or equivalent work experience
Technical Qualifications:
·Project Management Professional (PMP), SCRUM, or other Project Management Certification (Preferred)

Purpose: This role provides administrative support for several enterprise business information system applications as well as develops and maintains related automations. This role serves to develop solutions that the organization needs at multiple centers through these vendor-provided applications as well as homegrown solutions through automation. This role contributes to the proper function of Ethnos360 as it assists the local church in planting mature churches among least reached people groups.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the application administrator for several enterprise business information system application environments, utilized by users across Ethnos360
- Oversees administrative functions for these applications including user maintenance, modification of features and functionality, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks
- Monitors event logs, audit tools, system messages and alerts to correctly respond and correct problems or issues in these applications
- Manages setup, configuration, and overall operation of these applications
- Defines and assists in the development of reports needed for users for these applications
- Performs maintenance and support of these applications
- Works with vendors to install upgrades, new versions, or new features to these applications
- Monitors, completes and closes assigned helpdesk tickets related to these applications and automations
- Ensures the performance and reliability of these applications
- Performs configuration, change management and testing activities as required on these applications
- Monitors and maintains performance metrics for system features, recommends, and takes corrective/preventive actions
- Creates necessary training material for users on changes in these applications that will impact work processes
- Creates necessary documentation for these systems for IT support purposes
- Creates and assigns new users to required security groups and provides additional security permissions and groups as needed
- Disables and removes security access and groups for individuals who should no longer access specific information in these applications
- Assists IT directors in understanding these applications
- Works with the IT Applications department to develop and maintain automations between responsible applications and other business information systems
- Assists the IT Applications department to analyze needs, plan for projects, and future-proofs changes that are needed and potentially manage the IT Applications department projects
- Participates in team meetings as required
- Stays up to date with best practices
- Maintains confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Performs other related duties required by their supervisor (IT Applications Director)
