Requirements:
• It is preferred that this position be filled by a husband and wife team.
• Have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• The following qualifications can be accomplished at The Homes: Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification; Red Cross HIV/AIDS training or equivalent; Infection Control and Personal Hygiene Certification; TB screening; Background screening.
• Servant-leader with a shepherd's heart and genuine concern for people.
• Experience with senior adults with ongoing training in dementia and elder ministry.
• People related skills; approachable; an encourager.
• Comfortable dealing with the sick and dying.
• Understanding of scripture to communicate its truths to those suffering or grieving.
• Experience in communicating resident needs to health care professionals and family.
• A growing relationship with Christ.
• This position is open to career and associate members of Ethnos360.

Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assist in facilitating the purpose of The Homes with special attention to the nurturing, caring and spiritual needs of the residents – retirees, staff and volunteers. The Homes exists to provide a nurturing and caring environment, attempting to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of its residents, with staff and facility capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee morning devotions. Officiate funeral and memorial services. Calling/visitation at The Homes, hospitals and nursing homes. Represent The Homes in certain public events. Oversee cleaning and use of the chapel. Oversee the member care team. Other duties as assigned.
