Children's Program Director, Ethnos360 Training Center

Requirements:
1. Ethnos360 Member 2. Able to Communicate well in group settings and one on one. 3. Organizational skills. 4. Ability to move toward sensitive topics. 5. Ability to teach simple Bible lessons and engage with children. 6. Basic ability to use Microsoft applications.
For Associate Member applicants, an AA degree in Early Childhood Education or 1 year experience in childcare is required.

Purpose: Ethnos360 Training Center’s Children’s Program exists to provide a safe, caring, Christ-like environment for student and staff children while parents are in class or ministry. We desire to utilize the program hours to model, teach and expose the children in our care to God, His character and His Word while meeting their physical and practical needs. Instead of operating on a traditional fee-for-service childcare model, it is a cooperative partnership with parents to assist and support in family ministry preparedness and ongoing ministry.
Responsibilities:

1. Champion the values and culture of the Children's Program.
2. Facilitate communication between workers, parents, and other departments.
3. Oversee administration, training, staffing.
4. Ensure scheduling of team members/workers and track hours served, of both staff, students and employees.
5. Receive all questions, requests, and concerns related to the program. Including but not limited to schedule changes, campus events, exceptions related to special situations, etc.
6. Interview potential staff, volunteers, and interns as team members in the program.
7. Orientation of participant families and workers in the program.
8. Ensure handbook is in line with Ethnos360 Child Safety Policy and that policy is followed in the Children's Program.
9. Approve curriculum and adjust as needed.
10. Facilitate monthly Children’s Program team meetings.
11. Biannual Ministry Reviews for staff working in the program.
12. Represent the Children’s Program on the ETC child safety team and the ETC Admin. Team.
