Head of School - Mountainview Christian School

Requirements:
Masters Degree or higher in the Field of Education and some leadership experience. Native speaker of English. Achievement of national language competency within two years of employment. Sponsored by a recognized sending agency. must be under 55 years of age.
Experience and training as school administrator in an American curriculum context. International and cross-cultural Christian service experience.

Purpose: The Head of School of MCS leads teams of teachers and support staff to educate primarily the children of Christian service families and others in an English-speaking, Christ-centered environment, at an affordable cost.
Responsibilities:
  • Personnel Management (Recruitment, Orientation, Member Care...)
  • Head of School/Board Linkage
  • Supervision and Evaluation (administrators, teacher, dorms, support staff)
  • Leadership and Organizational Management
  • School/Community 
  • Other assigned duties

MCS provides a small stipend, housing, medical, tuition for children and other benefits. Some support raising may need to be done depending on family situation. The qualified candidate must be willing to commit to a 5 year term.
