Requirements:

· Associate degree in Bible or higher preferred · A growing relationship with Christ · Team player · One year’s experience in a pastoral or member care area.

Purpose: The purpose of the Field Member Care in NTM PNG is to reach the unreached, plant and nurture churches that continually glorify God, and empower national leaders to do the same by edifying, encouraging, enriching, and strengthening our fellow missionaries so they can continue and finish the God given task before them.

Responsibilities:

· Facilitating Field Member Care by focusing our efforts on encouraging our missionaries
· Staying up to date (via email or personal visit) on how church planting teams are doing so that we can encourage them and pray for them
· May help our new missionaries adjust to living in a new country with a new culture and new language by coordinating the orientation classes (e2) or our new support members (July & January) and coordinating HQ visits for new church planting missionaries
· Meeting with people individually to pray with them and encourage them. This includes regularly hosting missionaries and their families for meals, etc.
· Coordinating Bible Study and prayer groups if needed
· Providing Member Care resources and workshops for all our personnel in NTM PNG.
· Coordinating peer-to-peer critical incident debriefs for NTM PNG personnel as needed as well as other like-minded organizations as able.
