Required Qualifications (screenings can be accomplished at The Homes):
· Current Level 2 background screening (Florida Department of Law Enforcement)
· Current screening and doctor's verification of being free of communicable disease (including TB) and agree not to work at the facility while in the transferable stage of any communicable disease that might be contracted in the future. TB screening is renewed annually.
· Physically able to assist residents with activities of daily living.

Purpose: The Homes of Ethnos360 Purpose Statement: The Homes of Ethnos360 exists to provide attractive, affordable, efficient, and economical housing for our retired Ethnos360 personnel who apply to live at The Homes of Ethnos360, on a space available basis. In addition, The Homes of Ethnos360 exists to provide a nurturing and caring environment, attempting to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of its residents, within staff and facility capabilities.
ALF Department Purpose Statement: The NTM Homes Assisted Living Facility exists to provide assistance within the limits of state regulations to residents of NTM Homes who need supervision of their general health needs, assistance with self-administered medication and/or assistance with performing the activities of daily living. The activities of daily living include ambulation (walking), bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, and going to the bathroom.
Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide physical and emotional support and security to ALF residents by assisting them with their night-time needs. Examples of needs include, but are not limited to, falls, sudden illness, confusion, or other emergency situations. It is our desire at The Homes of Ethnos360 to be servants of the Lord. This may include many varied tasks. We need staff, willing to do “whatever it takes” to accomplish this goal of serving. “For ye serve the Lord Christ.”
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional security: Promote feelings of safety and freedom from danger, fear, and anxiety. Listen, show understanding, and respond to any concerns expressed by residents.
- Respond to emergencies: Respond to any nurse call alarms and be available to assist during a storm or any other facility emergency.

Manage health or accident situations as they may be encountered:
*Assist after a fall: Evaluate fallen resident for injury. If no injury, assist resident in getting up off the floor and seated in a nearby chair.
*Assist with transferring: Assist resident as necessary as they transfer from a chair to their bed, bed to a wheelchair, wheelchair to toilet, etc.
*Assist with ambulation:
*Assist in maintaining balance and providing necessary help with walking or manipulating a wheelchair.
*Assist with toileting: During times of sickness or other short-term needs, assist residents as necessary when they go to the bathroom.
