Urgent - Medical - Doctor

Purpose: The purpose of the Medical Doctor in NTM PNG is to reach the unreached, plant and nurture churches that continually glorify God, and empower national leaders to do the same by play a vital role by coordinating, supervising, and administering the medical care for missionaries locally and in remote locations, and having an impact on the local community by caring for the medical needs of local citizen workers.
Responsibilities:
- Be on call for medical emergencies.
- Be responsible for all medical decisions regarding routine and emergency care.
- In emergencies decide where to obtain the appropriate level of care. Prepare the patient for transfer when required. This includes writing reports and notifying all appropriate individuals.
- Maintain regular clinic hours, as possible, with flexibility to allow for on call hours, medical evacuations, etc.
- Supervise all medical care provided by the medical clinic, including all nursing functions, lab and pharmacy functions.
- Meet with NTM-PNG leadership periodically.
