Transition to a new lifestyle

A lot of changes accompany moving into a tribe, as Jareb and Amy McClain are learning.

Jareb had returned from a 19-day construction trip to the village where he and his family will be moving. The team put roofs on the McClain's house and the house of their co-workers, the Flaughers. They also managed to install preliminary plumbing.

Returning in time for Father's Day, Jareb and his family had the chance to reconnect and celebrate the holiday and their eldest daughter's birthday, which fell on the same day.

They are getting everything ready for their month-long trip to the village with builders who will finish constructing the two houses.

The McClains ask that you please pray "for our family's emotional stability with the transition to a new lifestyle in the tribal setting and for good relationships to begin with the people, and to find practical ways to show [the Elseng people]. God's love even before we learn their language."
