Manila Guest Home Pipe Replacement

Project Number: PPH011

Goal: $51,125 Achieved: $32,031
Philippines

The Manila Guest Home was built in 1981. It needs a complete overhaul of the water pipelines, including chipping into tile and concrete in order to completely replace all water and sewage lines.

The galvanized metal and/or copper pipes that were installed when the guest home was built 42 years ago are brittle, clogged with rust and desperately needing to be replaced. They are beginning to crack and leak and are no longer able to be patched. All the old, galvanized metal and/or copper pipes will be removed and replaced with the blue plastic piping that is now available.

How You’ll Be Helping

Your generous gift will allow this upgrade to address the ongoing issues associated with the clogged, leaky lines and help to mitigate other potential collateral damage, reduce the ongoing maintenance issues and bring the facility back to the desired level for the many guests that it serves.

This project will benefit the lives of every missionary serving in the Philippines as the Manila Guest Home serves all those who pass through the capital to attend to any immigration, medical and/or supply buying needs. Having a well-maintained guest home provides a place of respite as needed by missionaries serving in remote, off-grid regions of the country.
