Missionary Flight Sponsorship

Ethnos360 Aviation launched our Missionary Flight Sponsorship program in 2016 with a significant investment of internal funds, and generous donors stepped in to match our start-up costs. With the hard work of faithful partners, this subsidy has allowed us to provide affordable flights for the Western, national and indigenous church planters who rely on our aviation services.  When church planters have a strategy, we want to fly them – at a price they can afford. 

Many ministry partners have helped us grow the Missionary Flight Sponsorship fund. But now, we find that the number of missionaries we serve – not to mention the cost of aviation itself – has grown much faster than our income. Brazil, for example, is expanding church planting teams.  Indonesia – with a newly arrived R66 helicopter – is supporting new outreaches.

Not only that, but aviation service continues far beyond the initial contact and birth of a church.  We sustain church planting teams as they disciple the new believers, translate the Bible and develop church leadership. With affordable flights, they can even send their youth to special teaching events to bolster their faith – because if a church loses its youth, the church will eventually evaporate.

Our goal of “A Thriving Church for Every People” falls short if these fledgling fellowships of believers in remote locations struggle in isolation. Affordable flights ensure that believers can periodically gather for Bible teaching and encouragement. We have seen over and over the difference it makes for them to know they are not alone, that the greater Body of Christ – God’s worldwide family –  cares about them.  As they gain solid footing, we help these churches send their own missionaries to more outlying villages and even other people groups – assisted by affordable flights.
