A building project for eternity

Kent and Jenny Schafer are excited. After months of delays, it’s gratifying for them to see the construction on their house finally proceeding nicely.
Having most of a roof and the beginning of walls is huge progress and this progress feels so encouraging, Jenny shares. “We are hoping our carpenters will finish the walls and build our outhouse and outdoor kitchen,” she writes.
Then cement will be poured for the floors and the walls will be plastered with mud. Doors and windows will complete the project.
So things are on schedule. Sort of. Except for the possible future delays.
But Kent and Jenny are praising God for resolving the postponements and helping the building project get started, after waiting for 18 months. They are asking for prayers for God to give them wisdom to understand and work with cultural differences that cause disappointments and delays.
Pray for God’s ongoing grace in this building project, and more important, in the project of building His kingdom as Kent and Jenny minister in love and share the Good News of Jesus Christ in this little village in Mozambique.
There are openings for construction workers in several countries.
