A faith-building time

Missionaries Mason and Kim Lockwood are excited about the way God has provided for them as they anticipate building their house among the Pal people in Papua New Guinea.

"As a family we have prayed specifically for certain things -- like a roof -- and seen the Lord provide just what is needed for it," the couple wrote this week. "It has been an exciting and faith-building time."

Next month, Mason and his co-worker, Nate Claasen, will begin clearing the ground where they plan to begin building their houses in September.

Mason and Nate are working long hours to get their house-building materials ready to be shuttled to the building site by helicopter.

"Thank you so much for standing behind us is so many ways," the Lockwoods wrote to their supporters. "We could not be here and we could not be a part of taking the Gospel to the Pal people if it were not for you."

Please pray that the Lockwoods and Claasens will have the energy, diligence and health to get everything ready for their move, and that God will provide for flying the materials into the tribe.
