A wake-up call

At three a.m. one day last week Fransis came to visit Kamalus and Brus and expressed his desire to make peace with God.

This Mengen man in Papua New Guinea had been very difficult to deal with but in the last few months showed an interest in the Bible lessons and asked some key questions. Now he came pleading to know the Savior.

Kamalus and Brus were up late, singing and praising God with some believers from another language group who were visiting. Fransis joined the group and said he wanted to make peace with the Creator.

He said that he has been watching the believers’ lives and saw that their talk and their walk was the same, and that the change was permanent and was not just something small over a short time but it has endured over about two years now. This really convinced him that it was true.

That very night he humbled himself and committed his life to God. Kamalus and Brus were so excited that they woke up missionary Laurens Laureti to share the good news with him.

Praise God for Fransis’ salvation and pray for Laurens as he disciples this newborn believer.
