Believers encouraged, refreshed
Wusuraambya believers in Papua New Guinea recently held their first believers’ conference.
Forty-six believers from two neighboring tribes walked many hours to attend.
Akon, a Yagarian Bible teacher, spoke twice a day during the conference and ministered to other Bible teachers and church leaders each night. His wife, Esoli, spoke to the women in separate sessions each day and visited with them in the evenings.
Akon spent time discipling three Wusuraambyan Bible teachers -- Willis, Jesi and Josek.
Josek had been struggling with his relationship with his father and God worked to reconcile the father and son during the conference.
"The believers attending were greatly encouraged from God’s Word and refreshed by the fellowship they enjoyed with one another," wrote missionaries Andrew and Cathy Goud.
Please pray that all those who attended the conference will stay encouraged and that they will reach out to others who do not enjoy a relationship with Christ.
