Elders to be ordained
Pai Tavy Tera believers in Paraguay will soon take a vital step as they ordain five men as elders in the church.
In October, men from four local churches gathered with missionaries to consider the need to appoint leaders in the churches.
In January, one of the churches will officially recognize five men who are already functioning as leaders to some degree. Each of the men were asked to consider the appointment and after discussing it with their wives, and praying about it, each man has consented to accept the responsibility.
"We are very happy with the way that the Pai believers are maturing, and we see that the church here is functioning quite well," wrote missionary Wes Goddard.
Please pray that those appointed as elders will have wisdom as they lead the church and that the church will continue to mature.
