From kindness to Christ

Missionaries Kirk and Yolanda Rogers' kindness helped lead a Landuma woman to Christ.

Kadi is an elderly Landuma woman with diabetes. Last year, complications arose that required her to have her foot amputated. Kirk and Yolanda were there to help.

Kadi was extremely grateful. No one else in her family or village helped her in her time of need. The Rogers' kindness was a sign to Kadi that God had sent them and that His Message is Truth.

Now Kadi and her daughter have asked Kirk to teach them the Bible.

"But what about your son, the village religious leader," Kirk asked, "Won't he object?"

"Don't worry about him," Kadi replied, "We can listen to God's Word if we want to. He can't stop us."

Since learning about Genesis and Exodus, Kadi and her daughter have stated that they are sinners and acknowledge that no one can be saved by doing good works. They realize that we all need God to save us. The Rogers hope that through their continual learning Kadi and her daughter would fully recognize their need for salvation.

Please pray that Kadi and her daughter would see their need for the Savior. Pray that their family members and neighbors will also have a hunger to listen to the Bible teachings.
