God sees two groups
Yembiyembi believers in Papua New Guinea are reviewing the lessons on the book of Ephesians and God is showing them the difference between His ways and theirs.
Missionary Tim Shontere is teaching from the Epistles to help the believers understand that God’s plan for their lives is best.
One Bible teacher said in response to Tim’s teaching, "Our ancestors taught us to beat our wives into submission, and on the outside it looked like it worked, but it’s not God’s way. I am seeing the actions of Christ really seem to be working. It was so good to replay this message into our thinking again. I’ll be honest, this is tough. We should do this type of review often."
One of the men training to be a Bible teacher shouted out to the group, "God sees a difference in this teaching house. He sees two groups -- God’s group and Satan’s group. Consider yourselves now, which group are you in? Children of God rejoice, because only in Jesus’ name do we have a clear road to talk and sing to God."
Then someone got excited and said, "Hear this, we are going to sing a song about never leaving Jesus. There is no way we can be taken out from God’s hand once we believe in Jesus. Let’s sing about it"
The church broke out with a robust, passionate song about being secure in the hand of Jesus. Afterward no one left the meeting house for quite awhile. You could see people enjoying the moment and sharing joyfully about the message.
Pray that the believers will clearly understand the teaching in the Epistles and will continue to grow in their walk with the Lord.
