The ladies retreat Ginny Bryant went on recently was not like any she’d been on before. “This ladies retreat was for 250 women from over 15 different churches,” she wrote. “They all met together at one location for four days of study and worship. We all slept on the ground with whatever sheet or mat we brought. … I was shocked to find that wake-up time was 4 every morning.” With very few breaks, worship and meetings continued until 11 p.m. “I had some wonderful opportunities in the midst of all of this to talk at length with some different pastors’ wives and women … about some of the issues that they face as Christian women in Guinea.” Pray that Ginny is able to use her new insights to minister to Christian women in Guinea.
