'Kids Klub' reaches adults too

Missionaries Duane and Nadine Howe have a ministry called "Kids Klubs" in several villages in Brazil. They travel from village to village and at times teach as many as 100 children in one club.

Recently a Brazilian man, José, offered his large empty living-room as a meeting place so that 50 children and adults from his village could hear Bible teaching.

José, whose entire name translates from the Spanish as little black Joe, heard the teaching and wanted to know more about Christ. After hearing the truth Jose joyfully trusted Christ. Now, he attends the meetings and soaks up God's Word like a sponge.

Last week one of the children called out, "Let's put up a big sign that says Little black Joe church." They decided that would be a good name.

Duane Howe writes "God is at work in many lives in [José's village] and it is really awesome to be part of it."

Pray that José will understand more about God's Word and will grow in his walk with the Lord. Pray also for Duane and Nadine as they minister to children and families in Brazil.
