Kuna believers face fines
Village chiefs in Panama are fining Kuna Christians for not participating in a "drinking fiesta."
The fiesta lasted three days, and during that time, Kuna believers' lives were threatened and unbelievers also threatened to burn down the church building and forcefully take the believers' possessions.
The believers prayed for protection, and the danger to their lives and belongings only remained threats.
They do, however, face the fines and are praying for God to provide the money or for the chiefs to dismiss the charges.
The Kuna believers remain faithful and do not let the drinking fiesta ruin their praises to God and they're now preparing to travel to other Kuna villages to share His Word.
And in these other villages, Kuna believer Marcelino is teaching Acts to his fellow believers. The body of believers in Marcelino's village is growing and there is an increase in spiritual interest among the children and young adults.
Anelio and Silvia are also ministering in a Kuna village. Silvia teaches a group of more than 100 children using the chronological lesson in Kuna.
Please pray for Anelio and Silvia who are in need of co-workers to help them with their work. Also pray for the Kuna Christians who are being forced to pay fines for not partaking in the drinking fiesta.
