Learning to share God's Word
Last week the Mengen believers in Papua New Guinea received a book that the missionary team put together to encourage the believers to share God’s Word with others.
"Our desire is to see these books used as a witnessing tool for the believers, helping them to explain God’s attributes, man’s sin, and our need of a Savior to their unsaved family and friends," wrote Rebecca Preheim.
The books contain key pictures and captions of the evangelistic Bible lessons that were taught to the people.
After giving a book to each believer, the missionary team taught them how to use them to share the Gospel and had a practice session.
"There arose from our little building a big noise as people shared with each other the truth and even corrected each other as they went along," wrote Lourens Laureti. "Now we are so excited to see what the effect will be of sending these people back to their homes and even beyond our village."
Please pray that God will continue to encourage the Mengen believers and that they will boldly share God’s Word with those who have not yet placed their faith in Christ.
