Meeting unites tribal churches

One-hundred-and-twenty-five tribal church leaders gathered together for four days to discuss Bible teaching and outreach.

Other topics included discussing the aspects of the maturing church and what biblical leadership looks like.

There were three special teaching times each day and leaders gave reports on what God is doing in the churches throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

"The churches continue to grow and reach out as a result of these godly co-workers' faithful and tireless efforts," missionary Julie Wallhoff wrote.

The church leaders also selected five men to meet with the missionary leadership team to pray and plan a strategy for reaching more language groups with the Gospel.

"There are still many tribal languages without access to the truth of God's Word and [that] are unaware of the wonderful salvation available through trusting in the Lord Jesus and His sacrifice for our sins," Julie wrote. "Please pray for this time of planning as we grow in our partnership with these maturing tribal churches."
