Missionaries have faith and a dream

Jose and Wendy Huallf had a dream.

They visited Inocencio and Daria in their ministry in the lowlands of Bolivia and witnessed firsthand God's work among the tribal people there. They felt God's call to join Inocencio and Daria in bringing God's message of salvation to tribal people.

Recently when their dream seemed impossible Jose went to missionary Dwayne Hess. "What should we do?" Jose asked. "We want to be missionaries but we have a new baby. We don't know who will support us. … Wendy wants to just wait. What should we do?"

At that point Dwayne was thankful for the ten years he had ministered in Bolivia. He was able to give an answer that took into consideration Bolivian culture and Jose and Wendy's concerns. He reminded Jose that faith means trusting God to accomplish that which we think is impossible and when He begins a work in us He will bring it to completion.

Jose and Wendy have taken a step of faith and are now in the missionary training center in Bolivia studying to be missionaries. Pray that they will continue to trust God for their needs and that at the completion of their training they will be able to join Inocencio and Daria in the ministry.
