New life in Christ spawns fellowship

Four Dinangat believers in Papua New Guinea have been helping missionary Ralf Schlegel translate the book of Romans. They are ready to check 185 verses of Scripture with Jason Stuart, an experienced translator.

The group will travel to a nearby city to do the check. They are excited that they will meet with Inapang believers during that time. The last time these men met neither tribe had heard the Gospel message.

"There will be a lot to talk about as both of these groups have since heard the story of God in their own language and believed in Jesus Christ as their Savior," wrote Ralf. "They are excited to get to share with them how things are going with their new life in Christ and in the new churches of their tribes. We are pretty excited about that."

The Dinangat believers are also reaching out to a neighboring village. One of the ladies in the village told Ralf, "The Bible teachers that come to us every weekend to teach us have now started to teach the book of Acts and I’m just loving it. I understand the Word of God and see more and more how great our God is!"

Please pray that the believers will grow stronger in their faith everyday. Pray for those helping with translation and those who are teaching others.
