Papua New Guinea: Pal tribe: Mason and Kim Lockwood still have a long way to go, but they are thankful for what they have already learned of the Pal language. Because of a misunderstanding involving a dung beetle, “we once thought that … ‘I just had a bowel movement’ meant ‘rolling,’” Kim wrote. “I kept pointing to my son rolling down the hill and repeating the phrase over and over. … We’ve come a long way since then. I hope.” Pray that Mason and Kim soon have a good enough grasp of the Pal culture and language to clearly present God’s Word.
