Rapture has two sides
Missionary Brooks Buser is teaching the Yembiyembi believers from 2 Thessalonians and they are really getting excited about Jesus’ return.
They are excited about the rapture but beginning to realize that those who have not trusted Jesus face the wrath of God.
“It’s time that we teach our children this message,” said one of the believers. “We have been teaching them, but not with the fire in our stomachs like I have now. This is more important than any business venture or farming trees to get money. Please teach your children. I need to teach my kids. I know on that day when the trumpet sounds, I will be meeting Jesus and happy, but my kids? They will suffer God’s wrath. And whose fault will that be? It will be all mine because I did not teach them.”
Passion is building among the Yembiyembis to reach others for the Lord. Believers are urging each other to teach chronological Bible lessons in their homes.
The message of the rapture is challenging hearts. One Bible teacher said, “I get a pain in my stomach thinking about my daughter coming in the house and seeing my clothes, and bush knife and sandals. Will she know that Jesus took me? No, all she will see is my clothes and stuff. Man, my stomach aches thinking about it. I pray John 16:8 for her, that the Holy Spirit would open her eyes! I keep teaching twice a week in my house, and men are teaching all over. Now is the time. We can’t waste anymore time! I pray that my daughter believes.”
