'Resting their lives on Him'
One couple gave clear testimony of their faith in Christ after Kaul Bible teachers recently finished teaching lessons from Creation to Christ to a small group in Papua New Guinea.
After hearing the last lesson, Kamalus and his wife said they are "resting their lives on Him." Kamalus is now very keen to teach his family who heard only parts of the teaching. From the early stages of the teaching he was saying that other members of his clan need to hear the teaching because it is so clear.
"We are hoping to start the second phase of teaching with them soon. This is to help them appreciate just how great a salvation they have come into and how secure they are in it," wrote missionaries Bruce and Marilyn Rivett.
The Rivetts are hoping to hear that another elderly man, Benson, will soon trust in the Lord. Benson missed the last two lessons, but while he was there "he seemed to be following all the teaching amazingly well for a gentleman of his age," the Rivetts wrote. "Please continue to pray for him and for the rest of the family line."
Pray too for the spiritual growth of Kamalus and his wife.
