Soon to have Mark and later, Acts

Missionaries Terry and Renee Reed are excited that the Guarijio people in Mexico will soon receive more translated Scriptures.

"The book of Acts is ready for its final evaluation in early-May," Terry wrote, "and Lord willing, by the end of this week the rough draft of the book of Mark will also be complete."

Terry will then be ready to write comprehension checking questions he can ask to be sure that native Guarijio speakers clearly understand what he has translated.

He is also preparing Old Testament passages for his co-worker, Dennis Bender, to use as he teaches the believers. Dennis taught evangelistic Bible lessons to Guarijios last year and is now reviewing those lessons from a believer's standpoint.

Missionaries Jonathan and Rachel Willcock, experienced in teaching and church planting, are visiting the Guarijio missionary team to help them with ideas for their ministry approach. Rachel is also administering standardized tests to the Reed and Bender children. These tests evaluate their progress in homeschooling classes.

Pray that the Guarijio people will clearly understand the translated Scriptures. Pray also for the Reed and Bender families as they minister to the Guarijios.
