Students to spend time with Lamogais

Students in the short-term missions program Interface left today to spend five days with the Lamogai people of Papua New Guinea.

They will arrive at their destination after three hours of travel by plane and boat and another three hours on foot.

The students have done well so far as they've adjusted to life on the Interface campus and to the Bena Bena community around them, but now they will enter a new realm of experience, staying in tribal houses and eating meals with the Lamogai people.

It will be "yet another opportunity to trust the Lord for grace and strength in new and different surroundings," wrote missionary Rex Schaffner.

During the first two-and-a-half weeks, the students have begun wrestling with questions: "What does the Lord want me to do with my life?""Does the Lord want me in missions full time?""Could I learn a language?""Is NTM a good fit for me?""Should I consider a support ministry?"

Please pray for the students as they interact with tribal people and learn more of their culture. Pray too that they will find answers to their questions.
