Teaching Romans to Malaumanda believers

Eric Hedeen is busy sharing the book of Romans with a faithful group of Malaumandas who have been coming to hear God’s Word taught. He is praising God for His grace in assisting the clear communication of Biblical truth to eager listeners.

A faithful crowd of 35 to 50 people have been attending the teaching on the book of Romans, a follow-up to Firm Foundations Bible lessons that go from Creation to Christ. The progress of training in the Scripture has proceeded steadily and Eric plans to finish teaching Romans by the end of February.

Although he is encouraged by the faithful attendance, Eric shares that his heart is, at the same time, burdened for 30 or more additional people whom he would love to see in attendance as well. Please pray that God will draw more Malaumandan people to these teaching sessions of His Word.

Here are some other ways you can pray for current teaching of Romans in Malaumanda: pray for endurance for both teachers and believers during the remaining days of teaching. Pray for Eric’s voice to be sustained during many hours of speaking. Pray for God’s illumination of believers’ minds to receive His truth and that their hearts will be open to His work. Pray very practically for God’s intervention in helping the young children who accompany adults at the teaching to not be a great disruption.
