The power of prayer

Two weeks after being savagely attacked by a wild pig, Tiuli is a walking testimony to the power of prayer.

"Only by the grace of God is this young woman still alive," wrote missionary Linda Krieg, who ministers among the Siawi people of Papua New Guinea.

This week, Tiuli was able -- with the support of her brother, Noah -- to walk along the ocean in front of the hospital.

Doctors have removed stitches that closed some of her wounds but are still dealing with the more severe wounds. So far, Tiuli has been clear of any major infection -- "another miracle from the Lord," Linda wrote.

Please pray that Tiuli and her brother will look to the Lord during this time.

Before the attack, "neither of them was very interested in spiritual things," Linda wrote. "Their father, Okweb, told me that he wasn’t even sure that they were saved."
