Yanomami church leaders teach
Missionary Mike Hartman and two Yanomami church leaders -- Ademar and Mario -- made a six-hour boat trip to teach God’s Word in a Yanomami village in Brazil last week.
The men taught evangelistic Bible lessons for a day and a half. Morning and evening sessions were well-attended but the afternoon had fewer people.
"It was encouraging to see Ademar … take leadership in planning it all ahead of time, and basically running the show," wrote Mike and Diane Hartman. "This is what we want to see."
Besides teaching some of the lessons, Ademar also shared his testimony about being a former witchdoctor and how his life has changed since he has become a believer.
Mike, Mario and Ademar had great talks as they traveled home on the river and were also blessed by bringing their families a lot of fish.
Please pray that this village will be able to hear more of God’s Word and come to understand the message of salvation.
