Yembiyembi teachers share on Christ's life
Four Yembiyembi men in Papua New Guinea are teaching evangelistic Bible lessons on Sunday mornings. Michael, Sakius, Paul and Peter take turns teaching one of the lessons in the "Creation to Christ" series each week.
The four men have consistently shown their desire to grow in their walk with the Lord and teach the Word. They have faithfully studied God’s Word in order to present the lessons.
They are currently teaching the life of Christ to the Yembiyembis and are growing excited to see the results as the series nears its culmination in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.
Three other Yembiyembi men have expressed a desire to begin teaching but are not quite ready to begin teaching. Pray that Edward, Robert and Job continue to grow in the Lord and are soon able to teach others.
Missionary Tim Shontere is teaching the believers from 1 Corinthians. Pray the believers would really understand how God desires His church to function as one body and that each part is just as important as any other no matter how you function in the Body of Christ.
Pray also for the Yembiyembi believers and the missionaries who are experiencing opposition from some of the unbelievers in the village. Pray that God would soften hearts and that these men would listen to God’s Word and place their faith in Him.
