DARKNESS TO LIGHT AMONG THE MOI

In late 2023, a light that began to dawn on the Moi people living in the mountainous jungles of the Asia-Pacific region reached full brightness when this people group received God’s Word in their heart language for the first time.

Missionaries began to live with the Moi people years ago, slowly and carefully learned their culture and language and developed deeply rooted relationships with them, leading to the birth of what we hope will be a thriving church. And how can a local church thrive without God’s Word available in their language? Over the years of this work, God enabled the team to painstakingly translate the entire New Testament and portions of the Old into the Moi language. In late 2023, the church in Moi joyfully celebrated this huge moment in their history and gathered to dedicate the Bible in their language and to express their gratitude to the team that worked to see this happen.

Through the work of Bible translators and teachers, pilots and support workers, all the way back to the mobilizers among the Church in developed world nations, God is using Ethnos360 and the Global Partners to see work like this come to fruition.
