Read and Grow Slide Presentation – Ayore

The Ayoré people group of Bolivia and Paraguay have had a functioning church for many years. Still, like many developing country people groups, the Ayoré have limited Bible teaching material compared to what we have in the west. Many of the Ayoré live in isolated villages, and the more isolated the village is, the more wary and suspicious they are of outsiders.

To counteract that suspicion, video and audio presentations have proven to be non-threatening to the Ayoré. They let down their guard and are willing to listen.

One way to provide Bible materials is to produce a slide presentation of both Old and New Testament events, a kind of walk-through-the-Bible overview that has been formatted so that it can be viewed on cell phones or other media, allowing for presenting to a larger group.

How You’ll Be Helping

Your gifts toward this project will enable this slide presentation to be developed and delivered to the Ayoré church. Your gifts will also allow for the purchase of microchip SD cards on which to load the presentation. These SD cards will be distributed to the Ayoré for wider distribution to others and will make the teachings of the Old and New Testament more readily available in the Ayoré language, and that will ultimately increase the outreach of Scripture to the Ayoré nation as well as being a huge benefit in the believers’ lives as they will be able to review what they have learned.
