Thirty-two villages among the Tagbanwa people group in the Philippines have churches. Of the 16,000 in this people group, about 2,500 are believers who are growing and sharing their faith.

The problem is that the Tagbanwa Bible is out of print; none are available for the hundreds of new believers. An indigenous missionary training program is sending out 10 to 15 workers each year. (Here is a short video of the training program.) This means that there are new church plants going on right now, but without the Scriptures in their language, there is nothing available to facilitate their growth and discipleship.

How you'll be helping

Your gift to this project will enable the reprinting of the Tagbanwa Bible. Having the Scriptures in their heart language will facilitate the spiritual growth of new and future believers in this people group. The Scriptures are the foundation for the thriving Tagbanwa church.
