Joy Elliott has passed her third language check, meaning she is well on her way to communicating clearly in the Morop language. Coral Walles, the experienced missionary who administered the check, “was very pleased with the progress that Joy has made and was able to give us some good advise and direction for future study,” wrote Jim Elliott, Joy’s husband.

The Lauje New Testament has been printed and is on its way to the Lauje people. Celebrations are planned for April 24 and May 2. Thank God with us for the completion of this important work.
Steffan Pyle faces a lot of challenges as a missionary pilot, and April is stacking up to be particularly busy. "Once, he spent the night on a river bank out in the middle of nowhere because there was too much flying to get everything done in one day. Another time, bad weather stopped him from making it home, so he ended up in a village he¹d never been in before," wrote his wife, Julie. Please pray for Steffan and Julie.
A work team came in and helped get one of the missionaries’ houses ready to weather the rainy season, and made progress on another. Pray that the walls and roof can be completed before rains begin in June.
Old and sick Mwinikas can hear Bible teaching even if they cannot attend sessions.
